Abstract

The author of this paper, on the bacis of his decadelong researches, wants to find answers for the natural, social and economical problems related to Lake Balaton. The detailed and complex analysis based on the evaluation of different sectorial effects and regional aspects contribute to a better recognition and possible changes of the status and development of the Balaton Region. Hence, this work could be a useful and informative literature not only for experts, but also for all those people who are worried about the fortune of Lake Balaton.
